Procedures

  1. The letter shall be transferred to the Electricity and Rural Electrification Directorate/ technical affairs division for studying the documents.
  2. Recommendation to the Customs Department for approval on exempting these materials from customs duties according to the Investment Promotion Law, and notifying the parties with the action taken. 

Required Documents

  • An invoice with the equipment and supplies to be exempted from customs duties.
  • A list with the materials to be assigned with exemption from customs duties.
  • An official letter addressed to the Ministry from the concerned companies.
